There are hundreds of thousands of great apps out there that you've never heard of. The creativity of app developers, the amount of useful tools, fun games and the overall richness of the app space is stunning. Yet, whenever you buy a new Android device, or an iPad for your parents or children, filling it up with meaningful apps beyond Facebook or Angry Birds turns out to be a time consuming exercise. We aim to change that by bringing you tools that let you discover the apps you need. We believe this task should be as easy as finding information on the Internet – or easier. In order to build our app store search technology we collect and analyze huge amounts of app data from across 29 countries. Frequently during this process we stumble upon interesting facts about apps and the app economy. We share our findings with the community of developers via app reports and our blog.
