UPS Assistant is intended for monitoring of status of the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), connected to a computer through USB- or COM-port and supporting the Megatec/Centralion protocol (Ippon, Mustek, Sven, Inelt). Features include: Reports true battery voltage, I/P voltage, load, frequency and AVR information Offers battery test and beeper suppression functions Provides LAN or web server function for remote monitoring On user specified duration of power failure or at a voltage threshold it can send TLS/plain email, run a program or shut down/hibernate/suspend the system This tiny program will run on most UPS hardware that runs on Winpower but with the difference that it's only 1% of Winpower's size, does not require Java and runs immediately on startup.
