Works by muting only Spotify during ads. The sound of your other applications will keep working. Spotify Ad Blocker was developed with the following in mind:

• flexibility (Spotify doesn't need to keep running)
• minimalism (No UI aside from the tray menu and options aside from automatic startup)
• stability (It's alright to have your machine running for months and maybe lose internet connection once in a while) While this blocker is a lot bigger than other blockers currently available, the resources consumed when actually running it are comparable.
