Mako Server
The Mako Server is an application server with an API that loosely resembles the Java Servlet API, but where server side web applications are designed in the Lua scripting language. The Mako Server is capable of delivering dynamically generated content faster than Apache can deliver static content. The application server focuses on size, speed, and easy deployment. Web applications are deployed as standard ZIP files thus making deployment easy and compact. The Mako Server provides a framework for designing a vast range of server side web applications, everything from the very simple to the very advanced.
