
Hirundo
The Swift Mailing Lists are a fantastic resource. However, accessing the information in a convenient way is difficult: The web archive is not easy to navigate, and when you subscribe to a list you're bound to the UI of a mailing list. Even worse, you can't see any messages posted before you subscribed. Hirundo (Latin for 'Swift') is a convenient way to browse and follow the discussions in the Swift mailing lists like Swift-Evolution or Swift-Dev. You can even bookmark messages of threads because they contain important information Propsals: Hirundo integrates upcoming and accepted proposals. This makes it easy to identify things like SE-055 right away.
History: Browse and search everything posted to the lists
Reply: If you are subscribed to a list, Hirundo will open Mail.app with reply headers set
Threads: Messages are threaded, you can fold them or collapse them Dashboard: The dashboard will show you interesting facts about the current state of the Swift ecosystem
Search: Detailed Search facilities over all messages in all lists
Authors: Read messages from selected authors, search for authors, or even manage favorite authors
Bookmarks: Bookmark any message or thread into multiple folders and revisit them later My Messages: When you participate in the discussion, this will show you all the messages & threads you posted.
Mute: You can mute threads so that they don't appear in the lists anymore Ranking: Sort messages by various properties, including a Rank showcasing the most discussed threads
UI: The UI is optimized for and includes multiple different font choices
