The email management systems, both for free mailboxes, both for Professional ones, are all owned by Email.it (private cloud) and are housed in primary server farms located in Italy; they are equipped with access control, redundant electric power lines and data lines, independent power generators, fire systems and remote backup procedures. Among our major technology partners we include: Zimbra (the third mail platform in the world with over 400 million mailboxes, after Microsoft (Exchange) and Google (Google at Work)), Dell (servers), NetApp (storage). Software systems are all derived from open source platforms (Linux CentOS and Debian, Postfix, Dovecot, Zimbra OS) and custom procedures directly managed by Email.it system administrators.
