Better Pop Up Blocker improves the default pop up blockers for Google Chrome and Apple Safari by blocking pop up windows opened by javascript, & other annoyances like alert, prompt, and confirm boxes. These popups often occur when you simply click on what looks like blank space or text that shouldn't do anything, let alone annoy you with a pop up window. Even the adblock extensions often let these pop up windows open! If you have an adblock extension, you will definitely also want Better Pop Up Blocker. To use Better Pop Up Blocker, you simply install it and the url bar icon (a blue block) will show up. It will begin blocking pop ups on new pages immediately. You can also set Better Pop Up Blocker to blacklist mode, so that it only blocks popups on websites that you specify.
